what we do
The AIDS Council has provided direct support services to people living with HIV/AIDS and their families and has prevented the spread of HIV since 1984. We deliver comprehensive services to those infected with HIV, including direct assistance and service coordination. We also provide outreach to at-risk individuals, deliver effective prevention education, and advocate for responsible public policy. As the only New York State designated Community Service Provider in the region, we play a critical role in addressing this devastating public health epidemic in Northeastern New York.
